UPSMON Power Management
Software
Powercom UPS
units not only protect your electronic equipment, they allow you to
monitor and manage your power. The UPSMON software provides you with the
advanced monitoring and management functions that are required in
critical applications. The software is available in several
versions to meet the needs of both the corporate IT manager and the
individual user.
Please note that Powercom bundles customized versions of UPSMON sofware
with their products. Powercom does not sell or support versions of the UPSMON software for use with any other brand of UPS. All of these offerings are intended for use with Powercom brand products only. If you received a copy of the UPSMON software with another brand of UPS you will need to contact that company for support on their customized version of the software.
UPSMON +
This version is
included Free in all UPS units which have a management port. It provides
real time monitoring of Input Voltage, Input Frequency, Output Voltage,
Output Frequency, Load Level, and Battery Charge. It also provides
monitoring of the automatic voltage regulator on models equipped with an
AVR.
Monitoring Features

UPSMON+ Network
This optional version builds upon the advanced features found in the
UPSMON+ software package to incorporate multiple UPS and network
manageability.
Includes All of the Features of
UPSMON+ and Adds:
- TCP/IP & SNMP Protocol Support
- Remote Monitoring across the network
- UPS Status Message broadcasting
- Ability to Monitor up to 30 Remote UPS
Units
- Alert Notification by Email
- Acts as SNMP agent to allow management
by HP Openview or other SNMP Managment Software
- Provides API Interface for the
creation of custom software packages.
UPSMON+ Network Slave
Use one UPS and monitoring station to manage multiple computers.
This allows you to install and manage one UPS for a server rack or
multiple computers. When a
power event occurs a UPSMON+ Network station will send out a broadcast
message. Computers running the slave version will receive this
broadcast and respond accordingly.
Features
- Safely shutdown multiple computers
working from a single UPS
- Allows slave stations to respond to
power events but not change or monitor UPS settings
- Slave stations can receive broadcast
messages from a UPSMON+ Network station.
- Runs as a Service on Windows NT/2k/XP
so the system is protected even if there is no user logged in.
UPSMON+ Network Manager
This companion to UPSMON+ Network software incorporates features
designed for enterprise environments. Features like a graphical
interface, the ability to manage up to 1500 UPS units, and the ability
to map UPS units to a map makes managing the power requirements for your
diverse environment a breeze.
